Plan a day trip to Sapelo, Blackbeard or Cabretta Island before roasting s'mores at the outdoor fire pit!

For a relaxing evening spent indoors, grab a seat on one of the oversized couches in the main living area that features a brick gas-burning fireplace and Smart TV and Dish Net.
The fully equipped kitchen invites you to prepare the catch of the day for your family and friends! Serve a fresh southern feast at the banquet-style dining table or out on the picnic table in the screened-in porch. After dinner, bring out the ice-cream churn and make your own homemade treat!
Rest up for the next day's coastal excursion in one of the 4 spacious bedrooms. With a total of 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, and 1 twin-over-twin bunk bed, everyone is bound to find his or her ideal sleeping arrangements!

Situated right along the Crescent River, Baisden's Bluff lets you delight in the sprawling coastal views and allows for easy access to a variety of outdoor activities. If you brought your own watercraft, launch it from the Belleville Public Dock and Boat Ramp just 1 mile away from this home. Other boat ramps in the area include the Belleville Boat Ramp, Blue N Hall Marina, Shellman Bluff, and Pine Harbor Marina.
The lower level of the 3-tiered dock accommodates 2 or more powerboats and provides an attached ladder for swimmers. Sip a refreshing beverage on the mid-level deck, or rinse off in the outdoor shower after a long soak in the midday sun.
When you haul in the catch of the day, prepare the fish, crabs, or oysters on the covered top deck that has a cleaning station with a freshwater sink, propane cooker, and an overhead fan.
Put on your adventurer hat and grab one of the provided tandem kayaks to paddle up one of the many creeks. Enjoy a picnic at the nearby sandbar beach or pack your binoculars for coastal bird-watching or spend time with playful dolphins!
If you're looking for a longer day trip, take your boat out for a cruise to Blackbeard Island, where legend stands that all of Blackbeard's treasure was buried. Rich in wildlife, this island refuge is home to loggerhead sea turtles, bald eagles, deer, and waterfowl. By car, visit the many nearby places of interest. Wildlife lovers and hikers should head over to Harris Neck National Wildlife Reserve, and only 1 mile away is the Sapelo Island Guest Center, where you can schedule a DNR ferry for a half or whole day tour. Here’s where you will learn about the Gullah-Geechee community, marine research, visit the lighthouse, walk Nanny Goat Beach, etc. Or you may chose to visit historic Fort King George, or take a Darien walking/bike self-tour.
