Located in Hiawassee, GA, nestled among beautiful views of the North Georgia Mountains is Black Bear Cabin. Black Bear is a cute place that is roomy and inviting to make your stay in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains a great one.
Black Bear is a spacious home that has been recently updated and has 3 nicley sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (so you don't have to wait in line :). The master bedroom features a queen bed, a bathroom, and a private balcony to enjoy the peace and quiet of rural life. All of this on the upper floor; imagine a whole floor to yourself! The second bedroom is located on the main floor and has a queen bed, and a door to the porch to walk out and take in all of the breathtaking scenery of the mountains. The third bedroom is downstairs and has a queen bed and down here you have access to the pool table, another bathroom, as well as the door that leads to the hot tub. Yes, a hot tub where you can soak away all the stress of the day. There is also satellite and WI-FI (so you can send everyone pics and updates of the awesome time you are having).
Black Bear Cabin also has a kitchen that is the perfect size to make dinner or get the food prepared to grill on the charcoal grill outside. The living room is comfortable and boasts a large rock fireplace, which is gas, where you can snuggle up with your sweetie on those crisp evenings or you can just sit and relax with a good book and enjoy the ambiance of fire light. Another great place to enjoy a good book is the porch or early in the morning, take your cup of coffee out onto the porch and watch as the mist rises to reveal the tremendous beauty that surrounds you. Whatever your reason for coming to this pristine and peaceful area, Black Bear Cabin will help to make your stay here a memorable one.
Located minutes from both Hiawassee, Clayton and Lake Burton as well as Lake Chatuge, this cabin will be ideal for which ever direction your plans take you. Upper Hightower Vineyard is just down the highway a couple of miles for the wine lovers. Our scenic area has so much to offer the guests that enjoy motor cycling, biking, hiking or just love to ride through the mountains. Public access is easy to find on Lake Chatuge for those of you that enjoy all the activities that the lakes provide. Come stay with us at Black Bear Cabin!
