In the mornings, sip your cup of Joe on the screened-in porch before walking down the hilly gravel road to the private 16' x 4' floating dock to get set for another day on the lake! The dock also offers a pavilion for ultimate relaxation.
Inside this cozy cottage, you’ll find an open floor plan with comfortable furnishings and even a wood-burning fireplace to keep you nice and toasty on brisk evenings. The flat-screen TV in the living room has screen mirroring capabilities, so you can watch movies and shows through your smartphone.
When you’re not lounging on the comfortable sofa or recliners in the living room, sit out on the porch and enjoy a glass of iced tea as you recap the day’s adventures!
While your pets run and play in the fenced-in yard, get to work in the fully equipped kitchen, which has all of the tools and appliances you need to cook up the catch of the day. The property boasts a new state park-grade grill, ideal for cooking the catch-of-the-day.

Cruise along the creek and arrive at Lake Chatuge, home to some of the best fishing in the state! If you don’t have your own boat, rent one from Boundary Waters Marina, located right across the street from your front door.
Grab your hiking boots and hit one of the many trails close to home. Hiawassee is an official stop on the Appalachian Trail so get outside and enjoy!
