All kinds of birds such as herons, egrets and pelicans are daily callers.
Dolphins swim by and you may see an occasional manatee!

There is a large, water front heated communal pool, BBQ, a fishing and boat dock. We try to fulfill all your dreams of a hidden tropical getaway that grandpa and grandpa had back in the day.
Whispers is a Retro Florida Resort. We have lovingly preserved the look and the feel of the 1960's Florida Experience for the past twenty plus years that we have owned it.
The whole idea of staying At Whispers is to get away from a chrome and glass "Mc Motel" and to enjoy the experience of a throw back in time.
That is what Florida is all about and that is why Disney and Universal are so popular - its all about the fantasy and the unique experience.
Whispers takes you back to the 1960's, the days of the corner soda shop, and grandpa taking his old "woodie" station wagon down to Florida and the kids arguing all the way down who is better - the Beach Boys or the Beatles or do you still prefer Elvis?

We have created Whispers - the experience of old Florida.
