Description
This quaint but truly comfortable Holiday Rental cottage is located in the attractive village of Morebattle in the heart of the Cheviot Hills. Footpaths to suit all abilities abound in the area. The historic abbey town of Kelso is 7 miles away.
The Holiday Travel Rental cottage has a lounge with feature wall fire and flatscreen TV with free view and Blu-ray DVD/CD player. Notice the designer radiators. The dining area is already prepared for your first meal and the Welcome Basket with Borders specialities awaits you. The newly equipped kitchen has all modern amenities including washing machine and microwave. The small courtyard to the rear of the cottage is reached through the kitchen and has table, chairs and bbq for Summer evenings.
From the lounge there is a beautiful cast iron spiral staircase that takes you up to the double bedroom with a second wall mounted television. You have an option of duvet or blankets. The large airy bathroom has stylish radiator and heated designer towel rail on which to warm the fluffy Egyptian cotton towels. There is an electric shower above the full size bath. Outside there is off road parking for one car. One well behaved dog is welcome. There is a convenient pub which serves bar and restaurant meals in the village and a village shop for basic groceries and papers.
