Darou Garap is happy to welcome you for your regenerating holidays in the village of Niayam, district of Potou, Senegal. The word garap in wolof means both tree and medicine to mark the healing power of Nature according to the local people, that's why our house opens its doors to all those who want to spend a special holiday totally immersed in nature, between ocean and Savannah, at the beginning of the natural reserve of the Langue de Barbarie.
For those who want to share their skills and time sharing with the local people, we started an environmental project with the primary school near the house. Your support in planting trees and make the school a beautiful place is very much appreciated and will make your vacation a special experience.

We welcome our guests and will be there to make them feel at home and enjoy the place.
We can provide meals on command otherwise the kitchen can be used paying 4000 CFA per day if you want to cook yourself.
A continental breakfast is included.
We recommend to be careful not to waste water and light since we use solar energy and our own water from the well.
Smoking is permitted outside the house.
