Welcome to Timbers Lodge! This beautiful home boasts stunning views with great amenities allowing all who stay here to unwind, detach, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Planted amongst the trees in an organized vacation community which provides paved roads, a club house with games such as shuffleboard and foosball, two pools- one that’s heated year-round- all within walking distance from the cabin. Direct access to trailheads straight from the property is a huge bonus you’ll be sure to enjoy ensuring every second of your vacation is maximized to the fullest. Upon arriving, you’re provided plenty of parking for a trailer or several cars, along with a heated two car garage. An additional parking pad is being added on the North side of the property for ample overflow parking as well. Upon entering the zero-entry home you’re greeted with a wide-open floor plan, high ceilings with loft above, and cozy feet on our in-floor heat. Cook, dine, or celebrate with our fully stocked kitchen and large dining room table seating up to 10 guests comfortably with more seating around the island counter. Wind down out front by the large outdoor fireplace with views of Terry Peak and the Ski runs, or out back in your own personal hot tub with room for seven! The lodge has sleeping accommodations for 16 guests spread over two floors. With 4 private bedrooms, 1 bunk room, and 5.5 bathrooms guests can enjoy their own space while all being together. Each suite is equipped with king sized beds, televisions sporting satellite channels, and stocked private full bathrooms. Upstairs also provides a bunk room with four queen beds and television allowing children to have a space of their own. Additional lounging room can be found in the loft with books, games, wet bar/coffee station, and a second fireplace. Great for game nights, movies, or much deserved family time at the cabin. With location right outside Lead and Deadwood Timbers Lodge is central to all the adventures the hills have to offer. Day trips include Devils Tower, The Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Wind & Jewel Cave, and Custer State Park. Visit the waterfalls through Spearfish Canyon or pontoon on Lake Pactola, there’s something for everyone who get to stay with us at Timbers Lodge!

We are the McCreery-Storms family. We both grew up in the same town in Nebraska, where we became engaged and uprooted to the Black Hills of South Dakota in August of 2015. We were married at Sylvan Lake and began the adventure of a lifetime. In January of 2016 , we found out we were pregnant with identical twin boys, Oakley and Finnley. After 5 months gestation, our little angels passed away due to a very rare case of “TTTS.” We conceived again later that year in October and gave birth to a handsome, healthy baby boy, Lochley, in July of 2017. After Lochley was born, we were blessed with two beautiful baby girls, Marlowe in April of 2019, and Remereigh in September of 2020.
Living in South Dakota, we decided being business owners would ultimately be the best fit for our growing family. We quickly realized there was a great need for this rapidly growing vacation rental industry. Being family owned and operated, we have the luxury of providing personable, quality care -which is of utmost importance to us. Our focus is to provide our guests with the best experience possible and are very involved in every aspect of the process. From the initial booking to our final farewell, you’ll be well taken care of, guaranteed. Our lives have been extremely blessed from our kids, family, and marriage to our now thriving business.
