Winchester Estate Vacation Rental Community
Winchester Estate is a secured residential development situated within walking distance from Kingston's major retail hub, Half Way Tree and Jamaica's business district, New Kingston. Winchester Estate is a gated community with remote access. There are two uniformed security guards on the complex 24 hours. These guards work in conjunction with a rapid response security company that has overall responsibility securing the complex. There is ample parking with marked personalized parking as well as a visitor parking area.
This vacation rental complex was built in 2006. The complex consists of two residential buildings, both four storeys, which together house a total of fifty residential units, thirty six on Block A and twenty-four units on Block B comprising super studios, one bedroom and penthouse luxury units. The development is disposed over a site containing an area by survey of 66,659 square feet. Site improvements include two guard house, asphalt paved driveway and parking areas, automatic entrance and exit gate, reinforced concrete block walling and soft landing, gazzebo, children play area and reserve water tank.

Winchester Estate is situated on the south-western side of the junction of Winchester Road with Hope Road, and approximately 100 metres east of Half-Way-Tree Square which forms part of a very busy commercial and commuter centre. Being located in the central "uptown" area, Half Way Tree is an important commuter centre with arterial roads leading to more or less all points of the compass; Papine (with the main campuses of the University of Technology and the University of the West Indies ); Hagley Park and Molynes Roads; Cross roads and "Downtown Kingston".
