Description
Bermuda Hiding Place is a large five bedroom, four bath home located in Bermuda Beach (2 minute walk to the beach) that will accommodate up to 18 guests in the peak season. This rental in Galveston Texas has a very unique feature in that it can be transformed into a duplex with two completely separate entrances and living spaces for off season booking. The upstairs and downstairs units are joined by interior circular staircase while house is being used as one home. This home is a 3rd row beach side home with lovely water views from the multiple decks and a very short 2 minute walk to the Bermuda Beach. This home is pet friendly with fee paid at the time of booking. 1 Dog, no aggressive breeds please. Guests must curb and leash their dogs.
This home has two fully furnished, separate living spaces and is perfect to accommodate a large group of 18. During the peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day or special events), the home is ideal for a large family or group as it features two fully stocked kitchens (2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 sets of cutlery, cookware, dishes, and 2 sets of washer/dryers). In the off season the house may be split into two separate units for those looking for a smaller, less expensive vacation rental. This property is also perfect for Winter Texans or snow birds who would like to stay for a month or longer. Both units have cable television and wifi available.
Unit A, which is located on the first level, features a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home and will sleep 10 people. The master bedroom has a king bed, 2nd bedroom has 4 twin beds and the 3rd bedroom has a twin day bed and a full size sleeper sofa, living room also has a full futon. This home is smartly furnished in a contemporary design while keeping the comfortable feeling of being at the beach. Jack and Jill bath between two of the bedrooms, and the other full bath (with shower) is also available in this unit. This unit has a stack-able washer/dryer for your convenience.
Unit B is located up one level from the first, has its own private entrance and exit. Unit B also features a complete home with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and will accommodate up to 8 people as a single unit. Unit B has lovely views from the spacious deck, looking out to the Gulf of Mexico to see the brown pelicans soaring by, then quickly taking a dive into the water! Unit B master bedroom features a queen bed plus a set of twin bunk beds (sleeps 4), 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds plus a set of twin bunk beds (sleeps 4). Full size washer/dryer available for use in this unit.
When guests need a property that sleeps a large group, the units are joined inside by a circular staircase that is locked at both the top and the bottom. When the units are rented as a whole, the staircase will be unlocked so the house can function as one unit. When the units are rented separately, the circular stairs will be locked at both the top and bottom so that privacy is ensured.
