This 5 bedroom Kiawah Island vacation rental, located at 155 Bufflehead Drive, is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and is located on the corner of two of the most prestigious streets on Kiawah Island. This beautiful home was featured in Charleston Home & Design Magazine.
When you walk in this home, you will be welcomed by the high ceilings and natural light pouring in from the windows. The living room has a TV/DVD, radio, iPod player, built-in shelving and cabinets, and leads out to the large back deck with gas grill and a private pool/spa. The pool is approximately 25ft x 13ft. The living room also leads to the screened porch. This outdoor haven is sure to be a favorite family gathering place. The gourmet kitchen with updated appliances flows into the living room and provides lots of cabinet space, granite countertops, a island with a sink, and a bar area with wine cooler and ice machine. The double ovens provide lots of room for preparing meals for family and friends during your stay. The dining room offers a table with seating for 8 and seating for 4 bar stools.
The master suite with king bed leads to the back deck and pool through its private screened porch. Offering large closets, a dressing area, jetted tub, large shower, and 2 large sink areas, this master suite and private porch will make you never want to leave this home. A laundry room is conveniently located off of the master bathroom as well. Four bedrooms with private bathrooms and walk-in closets are located on the second floor. On the left side of the house are 2 bedrooms. The bedroom on the back of the house shares access to the screened porch with the upstairs media room and features a king bed and bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower. The bedroom on the front of the house offers a queen bed and bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower. On the right side of the house are 2 more bedrooms. The bedroom on the back of the house offers 2 twin bunk beds and bathroom with 2 sinks and a tub/shower combination. The bedroom on the front of the house features a queen bed and a bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower. All bedrooms offer TV's as well. The second floor living room with TV/DVD has access to a screened porch which overlooks the pool and deck. A second laundry room is located on the second floor. This home has a 2 car garage with additional parking is available in the driveway. Free WiFi access available.
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, and more.

This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.
RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, we will send you a reservation confirmation.
