This spacious cottage has one-bedroom (with queen size bed), one-bathroom, and den with an open floor plan for your enjoyment. The large kitchen is well equipped to handle a family holiday gathering (the dishwasher makes the cleaning up easier), or an intimate late night snack for two. The unit opens directly to its own private patio, making it easy to hang out and watch the beach community pass by (and appreciate the local music from Finn’s drifting in on the weekends). The den (with a queen size sofa bed) can be partitioned off for guest’s privacy. The unit has its own designated parking space by the front door that is long enough to handle a boat or motor bike trailer. As with all Casas de la Playa properties, the unit is fully equipped from pots and pans to linens and towels. My partner and I fell in love with Flagler Beach over 40 years ago, and bought our first property over 20 years ago while we were both teaching in Gainesville, FL. We remodeled it for our weekend use since we lived only less than two hours away. We began offering it as vacation rental in 2001. We then added five more units in downtown Flagler Beach in 2004. I welcome your inquiries through this website, or by phone, or e-mail. I will respond quickly. Although we no longer live close to Flagler Beach, we visit often, and we have a local caretaker who attends to maintenance of the properties and to the needs of our guests.
